Hello everyone! I'm glad to be back here . Happy New Year :) This year I intend to be intentional about ALL I do.....So how has it been so far??
The past few weeks in school has been so exciting. I actually realized that No matter how deep our knowledge of pedagogy is, No matter how many degrees we have, No matter how smart we are, No matter how many times we say "well done", No matter how many worksheets we've prepared or how much we impress the parents, No matter how many posters we put on the wall, or charts near the door, " Students will not learn one thing unless they know that you care about them"
This week in our various classes and homes let's teach the children about empathy, compassion, kindness and most important let's spread love this week....
Thank you Miss Ify for this wonderful information. Kids should be taught these things at early stages so they grow with it. I Pray for more wisdom on your side to continually spread the good work around our lovely kids. Ride on Ma'am
ReplyDeleteThank you so much !:)
DeleteThanks miss Ify for this great idea and information. We appreciate your good work and we must do our part as parents to instill great value in our children. May the Lord continue to direct you to the right path of success.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Thank you so much :)
DeleteA good start to a greater future. Let love lead
ReplyDeleteYes sis! That's what matters the most! :)
DeleteWow.... Well said.. I think I've learnt something new today... Thanks for this nice piece Sis
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you learnt something new and you are always welcome. Thank you sis :)
DeleteBe blessed .... Very well said
ReplyDeleteCoincidentally, I used same illustration in teaching in church yesterday. We can't obey and obey and keep God's commands if we don't love Him. A child will open up to learning if he knows that his teacher genuinely cares for him. Love them unconditionally and they will do anything for you!
ReplyDeleteTrue! Thanks Sis
DeleteWell done babes
ReplyDeleteThank you sis :)
DeleteVery true.. Children need to realize that you care for them. It prompts them into loving you and when they love you, they want to please you...then learning can take place. Good work Ifii. More grace.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear:)
DeleteFrom my own little experience with children, they react according to what was inputted into their emotions. A child that is not shown care, would be troublesome automatically to both peers and everyone around them.
ReplyDeletePupils that have passion to learn are pupils that are shown care and love in the learning environments. Thank you ma
True :) You are welcome!
